How do I send a direct message to my agency?

To message the company you are working for on PopBookings, follow these easy steps!

With PopBookings Messaging, you can message your agency directly with any questions regarding your bookings. There are two forms of chat you will use with the app:

  • Direct messaging: This is meant for more confidential conversations or asking the agency about information directly relevant to you. 
  • Group chat: This is for conversations with your fellow staff at the event, or to get information from the agency relevant to the group. IMPORTANT: Remember to use your powers of group chat wisely. Nobody likes spam. If it's a message that is only relevant to you, send a direct message to your agency.

IMPORTANT: Do not send personal direct contact information through PopBookings chat. Doing so could get you banned on PopBookings. Always keep your contact information up to date on your profile. That will be accessible to companies looking to hire you.


How to Send a Direct Message 

To send a direct message to a person or your agency, follow the below steps for the website:

  1. Sign into the website on https://www.popbookings.com/signin/
  2. At the top right corner of your screen, select the drop down arrow next to your name.
  3. Select Agency Connect.
  4. On this page, you will see the agencies you are connected with. Select the message icon to the right of the agency name.

  5. You will be brought to a conversation with the agency. From this point, you can navigate to names of direct contacts with the agency if there is someone specific you need to reach.

  6. Type your message, and send using the blue arrow!

 

How to Send a Message About My Booking

To send a direct message about your booking to your agency using the app, follow the below steps:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Select the Bookings tab in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Scroll through and find the job you are wanting to communicate with.
  4. Select the three dots in the top right corner of the job.

  5. Select “Send a Message.”
  6. You will be brought to a direct message chat with the agency you are working with. If you want to switch to a group chat, select the “Switch to Group Chat” button.

To send a direct message about your booking to your agency using the website, follow the below steps:

  1. Sign into the website on https://www.popbookings.com/signin/
  2. Select Bookings on the top left corner of your screen.
  3. Select the booking you have a question about.
  4. On the right side of your screen, you will see the agency. For the posting pictured, there is also a person with the agency to message.

  5. Select the message icon. This will take you directly to a direct message with the agency associated with your booking.
  6. Type your message, and send using the blue arrow!
