How do I send a direct message to my agency?

To message the company you are working for on PopBookings, follow these easy steps!

IMPORTANT: Do not send personal direct contact information through PopBookings chat. Doing so could get you banned on PopBookings. Always keep your contact information up to date on your profile. That will be accessible to companies looking to hire you.

With PopBookings Messaging, you can message your agency directly with any questions regarding your bookings. There are two forms of chat you will use with the app:

  • Direct messaging. This is meant for more confidential conversations or asking the agency about information directly relevant to you. 
  • Group chat. This is for conversations with your fellow staff at the event, or to get information from the agency relevant to the group. IMPORTANT: Remember to use your powers of group chat wisely. Nobody likes spam. If it's a message that is only relevant to you, send a direct message to your agency.

How to Send a Direct Message to My Agency

To send a direct message about your booking to your agency, follow the below steps:

  1. Open the app or log in at app.popbookings.com.
  2. Click Account Settings or the hamburger menu on your mobile app.
  3. Select Agency Connect.
  4. Select the agency you'd like to message, and click the message icon
  5. Type your message in the message bar.
  6. Hit the Send icon  to send your message.

How to Send a Message About My Booking

To send a direct message about your booking to your agency, follow the below steps:

  1. Open the app or log in at app.popbookings.com.
  2. Click Bookings.
  3. Click the Message icon next to the event details to initiate your message.                     
  4. Ensure Direct is selected at the top of the message thread.
  5. Type your message in the message bar.
  6. Hit the Send icon  to send your message.

Why have I not received an answer?

Agencies receive a lot of messages if they are booking a good number of jobs. It might take a little bit for them to respond to all requests. Be patient. However, if it is an urgent matter you can message again to increase your chances of getting a response or navigate to Agency Connect on the mobile app to find your agency's phone number (if available).
